Copy Reference

Allows the references (citations) selected to be copied to the Clipboard. If multiple cells are selected, then the references (citations) for all the cells are copied as well. The contents are stored as text and can be pasted into other applications.

The reference will be copied in the format:
  • Authors. Title. Journal. Year. Volume Issue.

To copy a row's reference:

  1. Select the cell that you want to copy by Left clicking on that cell.
  2. Then Right click on that cell, you will then see a drop down list.
  3. Left Click on the option 'Copy Reference Citations'
  4. The reference will now be copied into the Clipboard where it can be retreived by CTRL-V (paste) into another text accepting application.

Notes:
  • Multiple Cells can be selected.
  • If you need the Reference in another format, either use the Bibliography Tab (see Bibliography Tab) in conjuction with filtering the Title cell of the reference that you want in the Synthesis main window or use the Export to RIS button [TO DO] in the Synthesis main window to export to a Cite and Write application.
